Hi, I'm Anika!

My Background

I have a bachelor’s degree in hospitality specializing in Events Management with a minor in Dance from Grand Valley University which I attended from 2020-2024. I have been working in the event industry for over 3 years. I have worked at a venue as an administrative assistant handling everything from schedules and finance to working actual events. I worked as a floral intern spending a full wedding season surrounded by all thing’s bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, arrangements, arbors, and so much more. I have also worked with a few event coordinators getting hands-on experience behind the scenes of planning beautiful events and the day of experience of making sure everything flows smoothly throughout the day so you can see all that hard work come together to make something beautiful.

Every event is special, from birthday parties and graduation open houses to baby showers and weddings, they all happen for a reason and that is to celebrate something happening in people’s lives. Never miss an opportunity to celebrate those who mean so much to you and I would love to be the one to help along the way to make your dreams and visions into reality.

I have been working in the wedding industry for over three years, fully immersed in it through working at a venue, with a florist, and under other coordinators. I am passionate about bringing people's visions to life and seeing the joy on their faces when it is finally their special day. I am based in West Michigan, but I will go wherever your dream can take you.

Fun Facts About Me

I planned my first event when I was 16 years old. It was a baby shower for a family friend. From that point on I knew this was going to be my calling, bringing different items and people together to make an event successful was so exciting I loved that feeling!

My love language is acts of service and gifts! So, it is so rewarding for me to be in this line of work where I get to make your event the best it can be as my gift to you on your special day!
